Here I want to know you that To earn the IM title, a player must have an established FIDE rating of more than 2400. However, players must have three IM norms in the simple words he must prove their strength by having sufficiently strong results in three tournaments against very strong competition. however, there are potential shortcuts to winning the IM title, such as by being the runner-up at the World Junior Championship

How hard is it to be an International Master (IM) and Grandmaster (GM) in chess
Any things is not easy and not to hard to get now a a days but when we are talking about chess or and other sports one's need to be very decipline and hardworking toward his or her career. Like other sports it is also difficult to get any title in chess. We can understand this situation by the facts that since so far we have only 120 IM and 64 GM in India. So its not so easy to get the title and same time not so tough because now a days ther are lots of tournaments are conducting across the country.Saksham Rautela concentrating against GM |
